WHAT IS THE WARRANTY FOR MY KID TRAX TOY?
Kid Trax products typically have a 12-month warranty from the original date of purchase against manufacturing defects. The battery generally has a 6-month warranty from the original date of purchase against manufacturing defects. An original receipt is required to validate your warranty. Check your owner’s manual for explicit details on your specific product.

WHAT IS THE LIFE EXPECTANCY OF A KID TRAX BATTERY?
Battery life is affected by the number of hours used. Average battery life is one to three years. The owner’s manual will have detailed instructions on charging and battery maintenance for your specific product.

HOW LONG SHOULD I CHARGE THE BATTERY?
The initial charge may take longer. After each use, or once a month minimum, charge the battery for its recommended charging time. The average charging times range from 8 to 18 hours depending on your product. Your owner’s manual will have detailed instructions for your specific product.

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY KID TRAX?
It is recommended to clean the vehicle with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or water on the toy. Refer to your owner’s manual for your specific toys maintenance instructions.

WHERE CAN I FIND MY SERIAL NUMBER?
The serial number can be found on a white sticker either on the bottom of the toy or in the battery compartment on the body of the toy.

DOES MY KID TRAX UNIT HAVE 2 SPEEDS?
If your 12-volt unit is equipped with two speeds, we have included a parental lock out screw as a safety feature. You can remove the screw in the shifter for the high gear of 5mph.

Our 6-volt products are a single speed unit at 2.5 mph. No parental screw necessary.

WHY IS MY KID TRAX UNIT NOT WORKING AFTER A FULL CHARGE AND IT’S FIRST TIME USE?
There are a few items you can check on the toy:
-Is the charger disconnected from the toy?
-Is the battery connected under the hood or seat.
-Is the ride on turned on?
